Cookie Policy
The small files and browser storage Studio uses.
Cookies
We set two cookies, and only when you sign in. Both are ours (first-party), last up to 30 days, and are removed when you sign out:
- dds_session keeps you signed in. Your browser sends it only to floorstack.dental, over HTTPS, and page scripts can’t read it.
- dds_signed_in tells the page you’re signed in, so it shows your account menu straight away. It holds no personal information.
Storage in your browser
Studio also saves a few things in your browser’s local storage, so you don’t lose your place:
- Your questionnaire answers and the link to your draft plan, so you can pick up where you left off
- Studio view settings, and changes to a plan you haven’t saved to an account
- While you’re signed in, your name and email, so the page shows your account straight away (removed when you sign out)
- The name you comment under on a shared plan
- The email you subscribed to the blog with, and that you closed the cookie notice
This stays on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Analytics
We don’t use analytics cookies or analytics scripts, and no third party tracks you on our site. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs of requests, such as the page requested, the time, the browser and the IP address. We use them only to keep Studio working and secure: to fix errors and to stop abuse.
Advertising
We don’t use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Your choices
Everything above is needed for Studio to work, so there is nothing to opt in to or out of; that’s why our cookie notice informs rather than asks. You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Studio still works, but you can’t sign in without cookies, and your progress won’t be saved between visits.
